Get up and have no fear; Jesus is Lord

Matthew 17:7
And Jesus came and put his hand on them and said, Get up and have no fear.
Matthew 17:8
And lifting up their eyes, they saw no one, but Jesus only.

get up and have no fear or Jesus is Lord

Jesus is Lord Matthew 17 Matthew 17

verse 5 while he was still talking a

bright cloud came over them and a voice

out of the cloud saying this is my

dearly loved son with whom I am

well-pleased

give ear to him and at these words the

disciples went down on their faces in

great fear great fear and Jesus came and

put his hand on them and said get up get

up and have no fear and lifting up their

eyes they saw no one no one but Jesus

only get up and have no fear for Jesus

is Lord keep your eyes fixed on Jesus

have no fear for Jesus is all blessed be

your Lord

blessed be our Lord in Jesus mighty name

Amen I pray I pray that you may be able

to get up because your eyes are fixed on

the Lord not on this one on that one on

this teaching on that did you know on

the Lord on Jesus

for in him is salvation in him is

eternal life in the beginning was the

word and the Word was with God and the

Word was God

and the word became flesh and dwelt

among us for a while

Matthew 7 so Lord give us your word

Matthew 17 verse 1 this is after of

course the promise had been made that

not all should see death before seeing

the glory of God the Lord come in his

some say this chapter is the answer to

the question throughly I say to you

Matthew 16 verse 28 there are some of

those here who will not have a taste of

death till they see the Son of man

coming in his kingdom

some say Matthew 17 is the answer to

that question

others say when he was resurrected and

came back from the death is the answer

to this same some say both are the

answer they saw the Lord in his glory

twice

blessed your Lord for we know that we

will all at the end of times when he

comes in clouds of glory reason up first

those who died in Christ and then taking

him with him those who died and those

who are still alive in Christ to that

new place the New Jerusalem where there

is no temple but we’re God and the lamb

are the temple and when there is nothing

that gives light but God lights it and

the light thereof is the lamb blessed be

your Lord for eternal life or hope to be

with him forever blessed be our Lord

Matthew 17 Matthew 17 first one have no

fear for Jesus is Lord Matthew 17 17

verse 1 and after six days Jesus takes

with him Peter and James and John his

brother and makes them go up with him

into a high mountain by themselves and

he was changed and formed before them

and his face was shining like the Sun

and his clothing became white as light

and Moses and Elijah came before their

eyes talking with him and Peter made

answer and said to Jesus Lord it is good

for us to be here if you will let me I

will make here three tents one for you

and one for Moses and one for Elijah

but while he was still talking a bright

cloud came over them and a voice out of

the cloud saying this is my dearly loved

words the disciples went down on their

faces in great fear and Jesus came and

down from the mountain Jesus gave them

order saying let no man have word of

what you have seen till the Son of man

has come again from the dead

and his disciples questioning him said

why then do describe say that Elijah has

to come first and an answer he said

Elijah truly has to come and put all

things right but

say to you that elijah has come and they

had no knowledge of him but did to him

whatever they were pleased to do the

same will the Son of Man undergo at

their hands then the disciples saw that

he was talking to them of John the

Baptist and when they came to the people

a man went down on his knees to him

saying lord have mercy on my son for

Jesus is Lord lord have mercy on my son

for he is off his head and is in great

pain and frequently he goes falling into

the fire and frequently into the water

and I took him to your disciples and

they were not able to make him well and

Jesus answering said Oh false and

foolish generation how long will I be

with you how long will I put up with you

let him come here to me and Jesus gave

orders to the unclean spirit and it went

out of him and a boy was made well from

that hour then the disciples came to

Jesus privately and said why were we not

able to send it out and he says to them

because of your little fate for truly I

say to you if you have faith as a grain

of mustard seed you will say to this

mountain be moved from this place to

that and it will be moved and nothing

will be impossible to you take no

of what the Lord is saying have you ever

thought about healing something someone

yourself

the only restriction to not being able

to move mountains is fate whether it be

yours whether it be that person’s that’s

the only restriction if they have no

faith you can’t heal them if you have

little faith there’s no way you can heal

someone it is your faith Matthew 17

verse 22 and while they were going about

in Galilee jesus said to them the Son of

Man will be given up into the hands of

men and they will put him to death and

the third day he will come again from

the dead and they were very sad and when

they had come to a pernod those who took

the temple tax came to Peter and said

does not your master make payment of the

temple tax he says yes and when he came

into the house Jesus said to him what is

from whom do the kings of the earth get

payment or tax from their sons or from

other people

this God take payment or tax from his

sons from who from whom do the kings of

the earth get payment or tax from their

and when he said from other people jesus

said to him Dan are the sons free you’re

a child of God you are free free from

paying the ransom of your sins free free

but in the world so that we may not be a

cause of trouble to them to the world go

to the sea and let down a hook and take

the first fish which comes up and in his

mouth you will see a bit of money take

that and give it to them for me and you

only so that you may not be a cause of

trouble

you see Jesus is Lord and as Lord he

does not pay taxes to himself a son of

God he does not he is not required to

pay taxes as sons of God his disciples

are not required to pay taxes

spiritually to pay the ransom

to pay with yet blood with that blood

for the sins committed in the world to

pay taxes but Christ came remember

spiritually God so loved the world that

He sent His only begotten Son so that

all who believe in Him might not perish

but have eternal life

God paid that ransom Christ the Son of

God shed his blood on that cross so that

we might not have that trouble so that

we may not be a cause of trouble to them

hook of fish and take the bit of money

and pay the taxes blessed be our Lord

for showing us not only by giving an

order but by his behavior what is right

and what is not what is right and what

is not so if you can pay someone Stax’s

for them spiritually

and remember there was one who paid your

taxes for you for the Bible is about

spiritual things and the manifestations

in the flesh are just a reflection of

Our days are short and full of trouble

Job 14:1
As for man, the son of woman, his days are short and full of trouble.

Job 14:2 He comes out like a flower, and is cut down: he goes in flight like a shade, and is never seen again.
Job 14:3 Is it on such a one as this that your eyes are fixed, with the purpose of judging him?

judging him if only a clean thing might

come out of an unclean but it is not

possible

if his these are ordered and you have

knowledge of the number of his months

having given him a fixed limit pass

which he may not go let your eyes be

turned away from him and take your hand

from him so that he might have pleasure

at the end of his day like a servant

working for payment for there is hope of

a tree if it is cut down it will come to

life again and its branches will not

come to an end though its root may be

old in the earth and it’s cut off and

may be dead in the dust still and the

smell of water it will make buds and put

out branches like a young plant even if

you are dead in trespasses and a smell

of the Living Waters which is Christ you

will come back to life even if you die

you will be raised up but a man j-job 14

verse 10 but man but man comes to his

and where is he the waters go from a

pool and a river becomes waste and dry

so man goes down to his last resting

place and comes not again

till the heavens come to an end they

will not be a week or come out of their

sleep if only you would keep me safe in

the underworld putting me in a secret

place till your wrath is passed giving

me a fixed time when I might come to

your memory

again if death takes a man will he come

to life again all the days of my trouble

I would be waiting til the time came for

me to be free and the sound of your

voice I would give an answer and he

would have a desire for the work of your

hands for now my steps are numbered by

you and my sin is not overlooked my

wrongdoing is corded up in a bag and my

sin is shut up safe but truly a mountain

falling comes to dust and a rock is

moved from its place the stones are

crushed small by the force of the waters

the dust of the earth is washed away by

their overflowing and so you put an end

to the hope of man you overcome him

forever and he is gone his face has

changed in death and you send him away

his summons come to honor and he has no

knowledge of it they are made low but he

is not conscious of him only his flesh

still has Spain and his soul is sad now

what is the grace and mercy of God in

this consider all of job the whole

chapter and not just the part job in his

affliction when he is down his friends

came so called to comfort him but they

told him it is your fault it is your

fault

and he is just selling them no I have

done nothing wrong I will argue with the

Lord and tell him how I have done

nothing wrong but what is man to be

judged men are but puny making all sorts

of mistakes withering away at every

little dart of the enemy now here gone

tomorrow

I mean we live but shortly compared to

the magnificence of God and our lives

are full of trouble full of decisions

full of worry I really pray I’m free

that because of his support of his

guidance of his spirit in you your days

may be long not only in this cert not on

the world but in the world to come that

you might be in Christ alive forever and

at your troubles that are short because

your life on this world is short will

you have trouble that your troubles may

go away

and that when you are resurrected or

taken up or both that you may have joy

eternal no trouble not even the memory

of it in Jesus mighty name amen blessed

be your Lord who is our hope

blessed be eternal life in him that is

our hope and our comfort in Jesus mighty

name amen

Our requests to God

James 4:2
You are burning with desire, and have not your desire, so you put men to death; you are full of envy, and you are not able to get your desire, so you are fighting and making war; you have not your desire, because you do not make request for it.
James 4:3
You make your request but you do not get it, because your request has been wrongly made, desiring the thing only so that you may make use of it for your pleasure.

blessed be the name of the Lord his name

is Jesus we thank you Lord for all who

visit us we thank you for those who are

with us we thank you for all those who

are with you who you hold in your hands

Lord we thank you Lord for being our

Lord we thank you for this day for

everything that’s gonna happen in this

day for those we will meet those who

will encourage those who will encourage

us we thank you Lord for all of your

creation in Jesus mighty name amen now

have mercy on us Lord and when when we

make requests that are not the right

thing change it up for us Lord make a

request for us intercede for us lord

know that we need more of your help to

be able to request the right thing Lord

but as your wor word already gives some

guidance towards it lord I pray that all

may request your things Lord your work

4 verse 3 James 4 verse 3 you make your

request but you do not get it because

your request has been wrongly made

desiring the thing only so that you may

make use of it for your pleasure it’s

not about how you made your request a

lot of people think that there is a

way in which you may must request things

from God a certain form a formality but

it’s just that a formality God who

searches the hearts of men searches as

to why you are requesting them it is not

that first you have to say five times Oh

Holy Father hear my request it’s not at

first you have to pray the prayer of

Jabez it’s not at first you have to pray

this thing and that thing that it’s all

that is all form those are all examples

it is about why you are requesting the

thing for you know in your heart in your

soul why you’re requesting it and God

searches the hearts to find out why you

want a certain thing if we look at James

4 verse 2 we will see you are burning

with desire and have not your desire so

you put man to death you are full of

envy and you are not able to get your

desire so you are fighting and making

war you have not your desire because you

do not make requests for it you make

your request but you do not get it

because your request has been wrongly

made desiring the thing only so that you

may make use of it for your pleasure and

is about requesting things of the world

request for the Holy Spirit requests for

the knowledge of God’s Word

requests for knowing God o you James 4

verse 4 who are false to God do you not

see that the Friends of this world are

not God’s his friends every man desiring

to be a friend of this world makes

himself a hater of God I pray Lord we

are not your haters help us guide us

features to make requests there are for

your pleasure Lord make our hearts

hearts of flesh so that in our requests

your mercy your selflessness might be

shown Lord in Jesus mighty name amen

blessed be our Lord let the holy spirit

that you imagine a thought can be a lost

if it’s not submitted to God the worldly

and fleshly lusts the things we desire

in this world are things with which

interfere with our contentment and

satisfaction in the Lord blessed be your

Lord and may he give us that peace

between man and God that no man can give

that nothing in this world can give

remember look around you the rich and

the poor commit suicide and fall prey to

the whisperings of the enemy who seeks

to destroy God’s creation a certain part

of it certainly not himself yet let us

pay attention as to what we desire for

God looks and why we desire something

what are we going to do with it what are

we going to do with it

what is the cause of wars and fighting

among you what is the cause of war and

fighting is it not your desires which

are at war in your bodies the essence of

war is not this one or that person its

desires within our bodies within our own

minds within our own hearts within our

own souls that’s where it starts the

Word of God says let no one who is dual

minded think that he will receive

anything from God

why cause do all mindedness means that

there’s a lust a desire for things of

the world which creates war which

creates fighting among people first –

you are burning with desire and have not

your desire and so you put man to death

you are full of envy and you are not

able to get your desire so you are

fighting and making war you have not

your desire because you do not make

requests for it you don’t ask you want

to take the teeth the land grabber the

rapists all of those they have a desire

or lust they do not ask

they make no requests but go and try to

take the one who starts the war and

whatever level

verse three you make your request now we

come on to those who do make a request

but you do not get it why because your

request has been wrongly made and it’s

not how you make the request but how the

state of your heart is when you make

that request what is your purpose

why are you desiring that thing desiring

the thing only so that you may make use

of it for your pleasure it’s a selfish

desire and so you won’t get it unless

you get it from the world which is a

whole other can of worms oh you James

for verse four o you who are false to

God do you not see that the Friends of

this world are not God’s friends every

man desiring to be a friend of this

world makes himself a hater of God or

does it seem to you that it is for

nothing

that the holy writings say the spirit

which God put into our hearts has a

strong desire for us do you think it is

nothing but he gives more grace so that

the writings say God is against the man

of pride but he gives grace to those who

make themselves low before him every

time you do something out of pride don’t

even think that because you have a Bible

open but you’re doing something out of

pride that it pleases God it does not it

does not

God is against the man of pride lust

desire and pride the thing that things

that are mentioned that bring man down

and I mean mankind that bring it down to

the ground like the beasts in the field

lust desire and pride for this cause

because you do not want to be a hater of

God for this cause be ruled by God but

make war on the evil one and he will be

put to flight before you and our warfare

is not carnal in nature but it’s again

against spiritual wickedness in high

places war against the evil one come

near to God verse 8 and he will come

near to you make your hands clean you

evildoers put away deceit from your

hearts you false in mind false in mind

because sometimes people say the right

thing but God searches not lip service

but he searches the hearts to know what

and why it is coming out of their mind

be troubled with sorrow and weeping let

your laughing be turned to sorrow and

your joy to grief for those of us who

are well trying to make requests for

things of the world

make yourselves low in the eyes of the

Lord and you will be lifted up by him

the Lord says

seek the Lord and he who knows that you

need things of the world he will give

them to you because he knows that you

need things in the world it’s as simple

as that verse 11

do not say evil against one another my

brother’s he who says evil against his

brother or makes himself his brother’s

is judge says evil against the law and

is judging the law and in judging the

law you become not a doer of the law but

a judge there is only one judge and

lawgiver even he who has the power of

salvation and of destruction but who are

you to be your neighbor’s judge who are

you

are you on desiring things of the world

or are you one desiring God how foolish

it is James 4 verse 13 how foolish it is

to say today or tomorrow we will go into

this town and be there for a year and do

business there and get wealth how

foolish it is the Word of God says the

inspired Word of God says to make plans

about getting wealth how foolish it is

when you are not certain what will take

place tomorrow

what is your life it is a myth vaporware

which is seen for a little time and then

is gone but the right thing to say would

be if it is the Lord’s pleasure and if

we are still living we will do this and

that

but now you go on glorying in your pride

and all such glory is evil the man who

has knowledge of how to do good and does

not do it to him it is sin realize that

the Lord many of the prophets were

always against the priests against the

Pharisees against the Sadducees against

those who knew the Word of God why

because to them transgressing it going

against it is sin because they know it

because they know it those who have no

knowledge of God who have no knowledge

of the law of God and in many instances

are innocent for they do not know it but

those who know it yet still do the

wisdom of the world to them it is sin I

pray I pray that we may all be able all

be able to make our requests seek and

you shall find ask and you shall receive

knock and the door will be opened find

secret find receive open to what do the

infilling with the Spirit of God that

one spirit for God is spirit that works

differently too many people in a

different way yeah

still the same spirit and through that

spirit be one with God and receive His

blessings for he is the one who opens up

the gates of his storehouse of blessings

over us I pray that at all times you may

turn your eyes away from the things of

the world to seek the things of God in

Jesus mighty name amen

requests be for God’s pleasure may all

your requests may God see that you are

his friend and not a hater of God in

Matthew 16 verse 1 Matthew 16 the deity

of Christ that he the stone that the

Matthew 16 verse 1 and the Pharisees and

Sadducees came and testing him made a

request to him to give them a sign for

from heaven to give them a sign from

heaven but an answer he said to them at

nightfall you say the weather will be

good for the sky is red they’re always

busy with the weather I don’t know why

and in the morning the weather will be

bad today for the sky is red and angry

you are able to see the face of heaven

but not the signs of the times an evil

and false generation is searching after

sign and no sign will be given to it but

the sign a

side they had not taken thought to get

bread they were not thinking about food

and Jesus said to them take care to have

nothing to do with the leaven of the

Pharisees and Sadducees don’t take over

the ideas the wisdom of those who can

see the sign of heaven but cannot see

the signs of the times

do not take over the wisdom of the world

do not become like the world it’s a

recurring theme it comes over and over

and over again everywhere in the Word of

God verse 7 and they were reasoning

among themselves saying but we took no

bread thinking about food seeing the

signs of the world but not the signs of

the time and Jesus seeing it said o you

of little faith why are you reasoning

among yourselves because you have no

bread because you didn’t eat here do you

still not see or keep in mind the five

cakes of bread of the 5000 and the

number of baskets you took up a little

faith goes a long way

or the seven cakes of bread of the 4000

and a number of baskets you took up how

is it that you do not see that I was not

talking to you about bread but about

keeping away from the leaven of the

Pharisees and Sadducees how is it

I often wonder myself how is it that

you’re not able to see that I’m not

talking about things of the world but

about things spiritual for God is spirit

then they saw that it was not the leaven

of bread which he had in mind but the

teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees

knowing Jesus had come into the parts of

Caesarea Philippi he said questioning

his disciples who do men say that the

Son of Man is and he said some say John

the Baptist some Elijah and others

Jeremiah or one of the prophets

he says to them who do you say that I am

and Simon Peter made answer and said you

are the Christ the Son of the Living God

the image of God blessed be our Lord

and Jesus made answer and said to him a

this knowledge has not come to you from

flesh and blood but from my father in

heaven and I say to you that you are

but on the knowledge

heaven and whatever is fixed by you on

earth will be fixed in heaven and

made free in heaven whatever you put in

Chains on earth is in Chains in heaven

and whatever you set free it’s made free

in heaven then he gave orders to the

disciples to give no man word that he

was the Christ from that time Jesus went

on to make clear to his disciples how he

would have to go up to Jerusalem and

undergo much at the hands of those in

authority and the chief priests and

scribes and be put to death and the

third day come again from the dead the

sign of Jonah and Peter and Peter

protesting said to him be it far from

you Lord it is impossible that this will

come about they were still seeing the

Lord as a king in the flesh

but he Jesus turning to Peter said get

out of my way Satan for thinking in the

ways of the world in the wisdom of the

reflections the things that happen in

the flesh are a reflection of the things

and systems that do nothing there is no

use in them

there is no use and so the Lord called

and went zealously after them instead of

using their zeal to go after God and

when the Lord came down they could not

give honor to your father and mother

and mother if they are good give honor

will meet so that it may be good for you

in the land which the Lord your God is

giving it but these Pharisees have

changed it up and a Pharisee does not

effect and takes away the good sense of

takes away the power of the strong

destruction on them making wide the

someone afflicted we might show the

mercy of the Lord and help him with what

we have

I pray that a hand of the Lord may be

with us in doing his work I pray that we

may not be overcome by the things the

Lord gives us that he sees fit to take

them away

I pray His grace his mercy his love over

all of you so that you may be servants

of the Lord

Faith without works is dead

James 2:26
For as the body without the spirit is dead even so faith without works is dead.

as the body where all the Spirit is dead

so faith without works is that as the

body without the Spirit is dead so faith

without works is there brotherly love

good works justification now we are

justified before God because of our

faith in Him because of her faith him

but when we deal with the brothers in

Christ we deal with them in love and it

doesn’t matter if they have cars homes

buildings if their temple is great if it

deal in love and love is not a thing for

God is spirit

God is love so we do not value people

according to what they possess or how

tall they are or if their girth is wide

or narrow we do not or works in love is

that nothing in the flesh accounts for

only thing that matters

the only thing that matters that is our

outward works of love that the outward

appearance does not matter and the

evidence of faith is good works just

like Jesus on the Sabbath on that holy

showed that to do good works is the

utmost sign of faith especially well

those works must be inspired by your

faith they must be good words to help

someone for if you say well I have this

faith and I have that faith but you

never do anything with it well you’re

something with it when you meet someone

in need and they ask you for help do

something don’t just give them some

words and send them on their way

something and then you will receive

their blessing which is worth more than

as the body without the Spirit is dead a

are his servant and he knows what you

have with you so that you might help

a faith which bears no fruit it is

hollow so let every man examine himself

and either directly or indirectly make

sure that be in the eyes of the Lord you

have a faith that brings forth fruit of

fate that has works a fate that gives a

cup of water to those who are thirsty

a faith that gives a piece of bread to

those who are hungry
