Jesus IS Lord

Php 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

He gave up everything,
and humbled himself by being fully obedient to God,
So God raised him up to the most important place
and gave him the name that is greater than any other name.
God did this so that everyone will bow down to honor the name of Jesus.
Everyone in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. will bow.
All will confess, “Jesus Christ is Lord,”
and this will bring glory to God the Father.

Quicken The Idle

1Th 5:14 We urge you, brothers, to admonish those who are idle, cheer up those who are discouraged, and help those who are weak. Be patient with everyone.

Brothers and sisters, lets warn those who will not work.
Encourage those who are afraid.
Help those who are weak.
Be patient with everyone.
Joyfully and prayerfully.

For That Helping Spirit You Put In Us,

All things work together for good

Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
(KJV)

This well known verse is mostly used when you are being afflicted to explain the affliction.
Yet there is another another level.

God is good all the time,
And apart from God, none is good 1)Mar 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. (KJV) 2)Luk_18:19 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked him. “Nobody is good except for God. (KJV)
All that God created is good 3)Gen 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (KJV)
And all was created through him and for him, for his purposes. 4)Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.(KJV) 5)Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (KJV) 6)Rom 11:36 For all things are from him, by him, and for him. Glory belongs to him forever! Amen.

So if everything is made through him and for him, and he is good.
Then we KNOW that,
All things work together for our good.
Because all things are his, and he is good.
