Why do they become old and strong in power?

blessed be the name of the Lord blessed

be the name of the Lord our God and our

Lord our God and our Lord he rules us

with love He loves us and is our Lord

and we are his blessed your Lord in

Jesus mighty name amen blessed be your

Lord so Lord so Lord as you tested job

as job was tested sometimes we think

that we are tested why do they become

old and strong in power why does the

evil become old and strong in power to

us it is not known Lord those who judge

from afar who judge quickly who wish to

judge in the flesh who judge by the

experience of other men it is not clear

they think that those who become old and

strong in power whose children are

always with them are blessed by the Lord

yet in the book of Job your words your

word says different Lord job was good in

all his ways perfect in all his ways

have you considered my servant job when

evil came speaking to you you brought

before him the example of job your

servant

yet it was

who was afflicted job who became

fatherless job who lost all he had for

your glory Lord this is the wisdom of

the Word of God the wisdom of men the

wisdom of the world the wisdom of the

evil one says that those who prosper are

good blessed be our Lord for giving us

his great hope to know that when he

comes back he will take us up in him in

eternal life amen amen and amen

job chapter 21 I pray that you may know

why there should be no two things one is

that some are afflicted to show the

glory of God and to as you may know why

the evil become old and strong in power

and what happens to them for in the end

they die like everyone does and they go

to the underworld blessed be our Lord

when we die we rest and wait for him

blessed be our Lord who does not let us

fall out of his hand and go into the

underworld blessed be our Lord in whom

is eternal life amen amen and amen

Lord give us your word speak with your

voice speak unto the hearts of those who

are under the power of your voice your

servants in Jesus mighty name amen

job 21 verse 1 then job made answer and

said give attention with care to my

words and let this be your comfort let

me say what is in my mind and after that

go on making sport of me as for me it’s

my outcry against men is it then to be

wondered and if my spirit is troubled

take note of me and be full of wonder

put your hand on your mouth and the very

thought of it my flesh is shaking with

fear why is life given to the evildoers

why do they become old and strong in

power their children are ever with them

and their offspring before their eyes

their houses are free from fear and a

rod of God does not come on them their

ox is ready at all times to give seed

their cow gives birth without dropping

her young they send out their young ones

like a flock and their children have

pleasure in the dance

they make songs to the instruments of

music and are glad and the sound of the

pipe their days come to an end without

trouble and suddenly they go down to the

underworld though they said to God go

away from us for we have no desire for

the knowledge of your ways

what is the ruler of all

that we may give him worship and what

profit is it to us to make prayer to him

cruelly is not their well-being in their

power the purpose of the evil doers is

far from me how frequently is the light

of the evil doers put out or there’s

trouble come on them how frequently this

is wrath take them with cords how

frequently are they as dry stems before

the wind or as grass taken away by the

storm when you say God keeps punishment

stored up for his children let him send

it on the man himself so that he may

have the punishment of it let his eyes

see his trouble and let him be full of

the wrath of the ruler of all for what

interest has he in his house after him

when the number of his months is ended

is anyone able to give teaching to God

for he is the judge of those who are on

high one comes to his end in complete

well-being full of peace and quiet his

buckets are full of milk and there is no

loss of strength in his bones and

another comes to his end with a bitter

soul without ever tasting good together

they go down to the dust and are covered

by the worm see I am conscious of your

thoughts and of your violent purposes

against me for you say where is the

house of the ruler and where is the tent

of the evildoer have you not put the

question to the travelers and do you not

take note of their experience how the

evil man goes free in the

day of trouble and has salvation in the

day of rod who will make his clear is we

clear to his face who will make his real

we clear to his face and if he has done

a thing who gives him punishment for it

he is taken to his last resting place

and keeps watch over it the earth of the

valley covering his bones is sweet to

him and all man come after him as there

were unnumbered before him why then do

you give me comfort with words in which

there is no profit when you see that

there is nothing in your answers but

deceit this is the answer of jovi to his

friends who came to comfort him but were

accusing him see your state because you

are nothing because you have been oh it

is clear to us that you are wrong that

you are evil yet these are not the words

of God

this is the wisdom of men that

everything of the enemy worldly glory is

to be placed higher higher than a lowly

position before God remember what the

enemy offered Christ when he tested him

what he offered God with us he said bow

down to me and I will give you these

kingdoms these riches and our Lord

refused and so do we

it is better to be poor and live in a

cardboard box than to bow down to the

evil one

and let the Holy Spirit increase

everywhere in our hearts for he is in

our souls and he renews our minds in

become old and strong in power but we

worship God wholly in Jesus mighty name
