Where is your wealth?

Jesus we thank you Lord for being our

Lord and our God we thank you in these

days for to some these are holy days to

others each day is the same in worship

to our Lord and our God blessed be your

looking at where your wealth is where

your wealth is make a store of wealth

for yourselves in heaven for where your

wealth is there will your heart be

Matthew 6 verse 19 Matthew 6 verse 19

eyes on what is your hope where is your

wealth what do you live for Matthew 6

verse 19 make no store of wealth for

yourselves on earth where it may be

turned to dust by worms and whether and

where thieves may come in by force and

take it away but make a store for

yourselves in heaven where it will not

be turned to dust and where thieves do

not come in to take it away for well

your wealth is there will your heart be

there is your love if your wealth in the

things of the world your heart your love

is in the world if your wealth is in the

things of God your heart in your love

is with God no Matthew 6 has the prayer

6 is all given by the Lord and there’s a

purpose to it the purpose is to seek

first Matthew 6 verse 33 but let us let

your first gear before his kingdom and

things will be given to you in addition

your heart may be where your wealth is

Matthew 6 verse 1 Matthew 6 verse 1 all

your own Matthew 6 verse 1 take care not

to do your good works before men to be

seen by them let it not be the purpose

of your works to be seen by men or you

will have no reward from your father in

heaven when then you give money to the

poor do not make a noise about it as the

false hearted man do in the synagogues

and in the streets so that they may have

glory from men in the temples and in the

streets so that they may have glory from

men truly I say to you they have their

reward but when you give money let not

your left hand see what your right hand

does so that your giving may be in

secret and your father who sees in

secret will give you your reward and

when you make your prayers be not like

the false hearted men who take pleasure

in getting up and saying their prayers

in the synagogues and at the street

turnings in the temples and at the

street corners so that they may be seen

by men truly I say to you they have

their reward but when you make your

prayer go into your private room and

shutting the door say a prayer to your

father in secret and your father who

sees in secret will give you your reward

and in your prayer do not make use of

the same words again and again as the

unbelievers do

as the Gentiles do for they have the

idea that God will give attention to

them because of the number of their

words be not like them because your

father has knowledge of your needs even

before you make your request to him let

this then be your prayer our Father in

Heaven may your name be kept holy let

your kingdom come let your pleasure be

done as in heaven so honored give us

this day bread for our and make us free

of our debts as we have made those free

who are in debt to us and let us not be

put to the test

but keep us safe from the evil one for

if you let men have forgiveness for

their sins you will have forgiveness

from your father in heaven but if you do

not let man have forgiveness for their

sins you will not have forgiveness from

your father for your sins and when you

go without food

when you’re fasting be not sad face as

the false-hearted are Oh see how hard

before they go about with changed looks

so that man may see that they are going

without food truly I say to you they

have their reward but when you go

without food put oil on your head and

make your face clean so that no one may

see that you are going without food but

your father in secret and your father

who sees in secret will give you your

reward make no store of wealth for

yourselves on earth where it may be

turned to dust by worms and weather and

where thieves may come in by force and

take it away a lot of people go after

the well they want to build up wealth in

this world to have a name in this world

but once your focus is on those things

of the world it is not on God no matter

what you say it is not on God for people

spend more time and more energy and more

give more attention to the gathering of

wealth on this world they will go to

school courses travel visit go here go

there read books while they will not do

it while finding out to find out who God

is make no store of wealth for

yourselves on earth where it may be

turned to dust by worms and weather and

where thieves may come in by force and

take it away but make a store for

yourselves in heaven where it will not

be turned to dust and where

thieves do not come in to take it away

for where your wealth is there will your

heart be you cannot love two masters if

you’re building wealth and you’re

spending more time and giving more

attention to the building of wealth you

love Mammon and you will spend less time

and give less attention to the Word of

God the light of the body is in the eye

if then your eye is true if you seek the

things of God your eye is true if then

your eye is through all your body will

be full of light but if your eye is evil

all your body will be dark if then the

light which is in you is dark how dark

it will be no man is able to be a

servant to two masters for he will have

hate for the one and love for the other

or he will keep the one and have no

respect for the other you may not be

servants of God and of wealth so I say

to you take no thought for your life

about food or drink or about clothing

for your body is not life more than food

and the body more than its clothing this

links back to creation God created man

as a living spirit in an instant

snap man but he formed him from the dust

of the earth like a porter over time

there is no creation versus evolution

there is creation and an evolution one

is about

the spirit the other is about the flesh

how does this relate be a worshipper in

spirit worship God in spirit and in

truth for God is spirit blessed be your

Lord for the spirit the life is more

than food the body of Christ is more

than the flesh we have Matthew 6 verse

26 see the birds of heaven they do not

put seeds in the earth they do not get

in grain or put it in storehouses and

your father in heaven gives them food

are you not of much more value than they

and which of you by taking thought is

able to make himself a cubit taller and

why are you troubled about clothing see

the flowers of the field how they come

up they do not work they make no thread

but I say to you that even Solomon in

all his glory was not clothed like one

of these but if God gives such clothing

to the grass of the field which is here

today and tomorrow is put into the oven

will he not much more give you clothing

oh you of little faith then do not be

full of care don’t worry don’t be

anxious saying what are we to have for

food or drink or what will what may we

be clothed it with because the Gentiles

go in search of all these things the

unbelievers run after all these things

but your father for your father in

heaven has knowledge that you have need

of all these things but let not let your

first scare not be for these things but

let your first gear before the kingdom

of God for his kingdom and his

righteousness and all these other things

will be given to you in addition

remember God created the spirit man a

living spirit and then he formed him

from the earth from the dust of the

earth let your first care be for his

kingdom God is spirit and his

righteousness and all these other things

will be given to you in addition then

have no care for tomorrow tomorrow will

take care of itself take the trouble of

the day as it comes

make a store of wealth for yourself

in heaven by searching first after God

by knowing God by being in spirit and

letting the other things of the world

fall into place by himself and if you’re

spending time in things of the world

make sure you’re spending more time in

things of the Spirit these are the words
