The best offering for sins

blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus

made one offering for sins forever one

offering whereon in other times year by

year enough for an offering had to be

made Jesus made one offering once that

is forever for all who have fate blessed

Hebrews chapter 10 the law all the

ordinances are an image of the true

thing the through thing which is Jesus

mankind and none of those sacrifices or

offerings or things that men do in the

flesh can do or redo what Christ did on

Hebrews 10 verse 12 but when Jesus had

made an offering for sins forever he

took his place at the right hand of God

time till all who are against him are

made a footrest for his feet because by

one offering he has made complete

forever those who are made holy those

who believe on him

the best sacrifice the atonement of

Jesus Christ is perfect cannot be

repeated and a sinner

once forgiven by God through the

shedding of his blood is forever

to his standing and he only needs to

keep on walking in communion in

awareness of God to have that continuous

sense of communion with God for God’s

forgiveness and God’s mercy and favor to

have the awareness of the presence of

the Lord at all times so I pray I pray

that at all times you might be aware of

the presence of the Lord for what man

had tried to do for centuries and some

still tried to do it

God did once and for ever it is done he

says Jesus made one offering for sins

that and every time something goes wrong

you only have to say oh I’m sorry about

that and turn back and turn back to do

his word for he is the one who made one

offering which cleansed us for ever

completely clean the context is that

Hebrews who were Christians were mixing

the old law the bringing of offerings

with the things of Christ and if you put

that God forgives everyone who repents

with God by offering a drink or any

other thing then the question is why do

possible for the blood of oxen and goats

to take away sins it is not possible so

says you had no desire for offerings but

you made a body ready for me you had no

joy in burnt offerings or in offerings

for sin then I said see I have come to

do your pleasure

the book in scripture after saying you

had no desire for offerings for burnt

offerings or offerings for sin which are

made by the law and you had no pleasure

in them then he said see I have come to

do your pleasure he took away the old

order so that he might put the new order

in its place by that pleasure we have

been made holy by the offering of the

body of Jesus Christ once and for ever

and forever does away with all rituals

for all rituals are an announcement of

the coming Christ and he came and did

his sacrifice so that we might be free

place at the altar

day by day doing what is necessary and

making again and again the same

offerings which are never able to take

away sins never able but when Jesus had

made one offering for sins forever he

took his place at the right hand of God

he did it once and it was done priests

do it every Sunday some twice a week

others every day but they have to

continue doing it which tells you that

the ritual even though it might comfort

has no effect verse 13 he took his place

at the right hand of God and has been

waiting there from that time he has been

waiting there till all who are against

him are made a footrest for his feet

because by one offering he has made

complete for ever those who are made

holy those who have faith on him and the

Holy Spirit is the witness for us for

after he had said this is the agreement

which I will make with them after those

days says the Lord

I will put my laws in their hearts

writing them in their mind you have

opened yourself up to Christ so his law

is in your heart his law is clearly

written in your minds every thought

passes through the Word of God and he

says I will keep no more memory of their

sins and of their evil doings now where

there is forgiveness of these there is

no more offering for sin if you are

aware of what Christ has done for you

and how he has forgiven you you have no

more the conviction on you you have no

more that memory of sins for Christ does

not have it so you do not run to take

part in an offering in a sacrifice in a

has brought peace to you there is no

more that awareness that you need to do

having a great priest over the house of

God let us go in with true heart in

certain faith having our hearts made

free from the sense of sin and our

bodies washed with clean water let us

keep the witness of her hope strong and

unshaken for he is true who has given

his word and let us be moving one

another at all times to love and good

works not giving up our meetings as is

the way of some but keeping one another

strong in faith and all the more because

you see the day coming near for if we do

evil on purpose after we have had the

knowledge of what is true there is no

more offering for sins think about it

you can make a mistake and turn back to

Christ

all is well but if on purpose after

Christ has made you clean you decide no

I’m not gonna do what the Word of God

says I am going to do something else I

will follow the wisdom of the world how

will you be cleansed again

the key here is not if you do evil the

key here is on purpose

for if we do evil on purpose after we

have had the knowledge of what is true

there is no more offering for sins

Christ offered once and for ever and if

you on purpose do evil there is but only

a great fear of being judged and of the

fire of wrath which will be the

destruction of the haters of God who on

purpose do evil a man who has gone

against the law of Moses is put to death

without pity on the word of – without

pity he is put to death on the word of

two or three witnesses but will not the

man by whom the Son of God has been

crushed under foot and a blood of the

agreement with which he was washed clean

has been taken as an unholy thing and

who has no respect for the spirit of

grace will he not be judged bad enough

for a very much worse punishment don’t

be afraid of those who can take away the

flesh who can kill you in the flesh be

afraid of him who can destroy the soul

verse 34 we have had experience of him

who says punishment is mine vengeance is

mine I will give reward and again the

Lord will be judge of his people

we may well go in fear of falling into

the hands of the Living God but give

thought to the days after you had seen

the light when you went through a Great

War of troubles in part in being

attacked by angry words and cruel acts

before the eyes of everyone and in part

in being United with those who were

attacked in this way for you had pity on

those who were in prison and had joy in

the loss of your property in the

knowledge that you still had a better

property and one which you would keep

forever the kingdom of God so do not

give up your hope which will be greatly

rewarded for having done what was right

in God’s eyes you have need of waiting

before his word has effect for you in a

very little time he was coming will come

he will not be slow but the upright man

will be living by his fate by his fate

and if he goes back to go living by his

works and not by his fate my soul will

have no pleasure it but we are not of

those who go back to destruction but of

those who have faith even to the

salvation of the soul blessed be your

Lord blessed be our Lord whose finished

work guarantees or salvation of the soul

if we hold on to our faith and do not go

back

into the world I pray that at once

sacrifice that Jesus made that his blood

may cover you for ever in Jesus mighty
