The greatest love

greater love has no man than this that a

man gives up his life for his friends no

greater love that a man gives up his

life for his friends

blessed be our Lord who gave up his

life for us so that we might be able to

see the glory of God

John 15 verse 13

the greatest love people can show is to

die for their friends the greatest love

that people can show is to die for their

friends his human was love each other as

I have loved you you are my friends if

you do what I tell you to do if you do

what I tell you to do then I will no

longer call you servants because a

servant does not know what his master is

doing but now I call you friends because

I have told you everything that my

father – everything that Jesus said was

what God said remember Jesus only does

what he sees God do what he sees the

father the spirit do and Jesus Olli says

what the spirit tells him to say blessed

be your Lord and may you be his friend

doing what he told you to do showing

that love that at times means to die for

your friends

I pray, that all, all, whenever facing

adversity. They first think of their

friends, just like he thought of his

friends, so much so that he came down from

his throne of glory and let himself be

humiliated and sacrificed so that his

friends might live, might live forever in

him, with him, in that place of peace.

lord give us your word speak with your

voice speak into the hearts of those who

are under the power of your voice in

John 15 verse 1 Jesus said I am The True

Vine and my father is the gardener he

cuts off every branch of mine that does

not produce fruit every branch that is

not produced fruit he also trims every

branch that produces fruit to prepare it

to produce even more interesting is that

all branches that don’t produce anything

are cut away and those that do produce

something are cut a little bit so that

they may produce even more you know that

when you cut a branch you got two

branches so if you go through adversity

know if you’re not totally cut off know

that it is so that you may produce more

first tree you have already been

prepared to produce more fruit by the

teaching I have given you say joined to

me and I will stay joined to you no

branch can produce fruit alone it must

stay connected to the vine it is the

same with you you cannot produce fruit

alone you

they joined to me you must be aware of

the presence of the Lord being communion

with him

you must stay connected with the Lord

for he is the one he is the one he is

the one I am the vine John 15 verse 5 I

am the vine and you are the branches if

you stay joined to me and I to you you

will produce plenty of fruit but

separated from me you won’t be able to

do anything anything if you don’t stay

joined to me you will be like a branch

that has been thrown out and has dried

up all the dead branches like that are

gathered up thrown into the fire and

burned stay joined together with me and

follow my teachings stay joined together

with me and follow my teachings if you

do this you can ask for anything you

want and it will be given to you show

show that you are my followers by

producing much fruit this will bring

honor to my father I have loved you as

the father has loved me now continue in

my love I have obeyed my father’s

commands and he continues to love me in

the same way if you obey my commands I

will continue to love you I have told

you these things so that you can have

the true happiness that I have I want

you

be completely happy this is what I

command you love each other as I have

loved you the greatest love people can

show is to die for their friends you are

my friends if you do what I tell you to

do the greatest love Romans 5 6 to 8 the

greatest love Christ died for us when we

were unable to help ourselves we were

living against God but at just the right

time Christ died for us very few people

will die to save the life of someone

else even if it is for a good person

someone might be willing to die for an

especially good person but Christ died

for us why we were still sinners and by

this God showed how much he loves us

blessed be our Lord who died for all

the good and the evil well all had gone

astray then all had gone astray he died

for those who were bad you see like the

word says some might die for a good

person or an innocent person but few

very few will die for an evil person

friends verse 14 if you do

what I tell you to do I no longer call

you servants because servants don’t know

what their master is doing but now I

call you friends because I have told you

everything that my father told you did

not choose me I chose you and I gave you

this work to go and produce fruit fruit

that will last

then the father will give you anything

you ask for in my name this is my

command love each other if the world

hates you remember that they hated me

first if you belonged to the world the

world would love you as it loves its own

people but I have chosen you to be

different from those in the world so you

don’t belong to the world and that is

why the world eats you because you don’t

belong to the world remember the lessons

I told you servants are not greater than

their master if people treated me badly

they will treat you badly – and if they

obeyed my teaching they will obey yours

too remember the words of Isaiah Oh Lord

who has taken our preaching who has

listened who has obeyed who not one if

they obeyed my teachings as the Lord

they will obey yours too

they will do to you whatever they did to

me because you belong to me they don’t

know the one who sent me they don’t know

the one who sent me they don’t know God

the spirit for all

Jesus Christ reveals God the spirit to

whomever he is pleased with verse 22 if

I had not come and spoken to the people

of the world they would not be guilty of

sin they would not have known it would

be innocent but now I have spoken to

them so they have no excuse for their

sin whoever hates me also hates my

father I did things among the people of

the world that no one else has ever done

if I had not done these things they

would not be guilty of sin but they have

seen what I did and still they hate me

and my father but this happened to make

clear the full meaning of what is

written in their law they hated me for

no reason for he came and died for them

for us still they hated him I will send

you the helper from the father the

helper is the Spirit of Truth who comes

from the Father when he comes he will

tell about me and you will tell people

about me too because you have been with

me from the beginning blessed be your

Lord blessed be our Lord and I pray I

pray that you may know that love that

you may know that Christ died for you

when you were still in your sin that we

may know that Christ sacrificed himself

for us think back on the time when you

were not with Christ knowing

dad he sacrificed himself for us greater

love has no man than this that a man

gives up his life for his friend so know

what you have to do I pray that you may

always know that Christ died for you for

all the things you did for all the

things you are for all the things you

were about to do and I pray that you may

know that all those who are still still

not in the knowledge of Christ that he

also died for them so I pray with you

I prayed at all or that some or that

many or that one may find Christ and so
