The complaints of the afflicted

blessed be the name of the Lord blessed

you are testing him every minute the

complaints of the afflicted what is man

the complaint of job in answer to a life

as we know we know that when we can’t

see the Sun on a cloudy day we know that

it is still there and so we must also

know that when we can’t see God’s favor

on us he is still always there but I

can’t see him face to face he is still

there even though he seems not to be

there he is still there our complaint it

is right to cry out to the Lord it is

right even Jesus cried out in his moment

and said Lord why have you forsaken

why have you forsaken job 7 verse 11 job

7 verse 11 so I will not keep my mouth

shut I will let the words come from it

in the pain of my spirit my soul will

make a bitter outcry a bitter outward

what is man that you have made him great

and that your attention is fixed on him

and that your hand is on him every

morning and that you are testing him

every minute blessed be our Lord I

always have to remind myself that our

God searches the hearts of men at all

times diligently diligently continuously

deeply he searches the hearts of men but

we who are but man who was that search

might be painful bringing up things we

don’t want to know about ourselves or

putting us in situations we have no

control over yet he is like the Sun on a

cloudy day always there always there so

no matter what kind of day it is cloudy

or Sun no matter where we

we see face to face with God or not let

us always maintain our faith and of

course cry out to him

what is man what am i that you are

testing every minute I pray that you may

not be tested every minute I pray that

you may see the face of God always I

pray that even on a cloudy day on a

stormy day you might know that the Sun

always shines that God is always there

holding you up protecting you guiding

you with you amen blessed be our Lord

and let the holy spirit increase

everywhere in Jesus mighty name let us

so god afflicts the evil yes but of the

disciples this is not because of his sin

or his father’s or his mother’s sin it

nothing wrong but it was to show the

glory of God blessed be our Lord and

the faith he inspires in men job 7 verse

1 has not man his order time of trouble

on the earth and are not his days like

the days of a servant working for

payment as a servant desiring the shades

of evening and a work man looking for

his payment so I have for my heritage

months of pain to no purpose months of

pain to no purpose and nights of

weariness given to me when I go to my

bed I say when will it be time to get up

but the night is long and I am turning

from side to side till morning light my

flesh is covered with worms and dust my

skin gets hard and that is cracked again

my days go quicker than the cloth

workers shred and come to an end without

hope

Oh keep in mind that my life is wind my

I will never again see good the eye of

him who sees me will see me no longer

your eyes will be looking for me

but I will be gone a cloud comes to an

end and is gone so he who goes down into

the underworld comes not up again he

will not come back to his house and his

place will have no more knowledge of him

so I will not keep my mouth shut

send dreams to me and visions of fear so

that a hard death seems better to my

soul than my pains I have no desire for

life I would not be living forever keep

away from me for my days

as a breath what is man that you have

made him great and that your attention

is fixed on him and that your hand is on

him every morning and that you are

testing him every minute how long will

it be before your eyes are turned away

from me

so that I may have a minutes breathing

space a minute of if I have done wrong

what have I done to you

oh keeper of men why have you made me a

mark for your blows so that I am a

weariness to myself and why do you not

take away my sin and let my wrongdoing

be ended for now I go down to the dust

and you will be searching for me with

care but I will be gone the lamentation

of the afflicted remember every time you

see the afflicted

they are all aware they are aware of

their affliction and they are always

saying what have I done that was so

wrong that this has happened to me

before they see people who are well

worse than they are shining in the Sun

and the cry goes up what is man that you

are testing him every minute that

everything goes wrong have mercy and

know that not all who are afflicted are

afflicted for doing wrong a whole

chapter of the Bible is dedicated to say

this jesus said it also it is important

it is an important thing to know you

cannot see when you see the afflicted

which one has done wrong and which one

has not you cannot see it justice

friends thought that he had done

something wrong I’ve heard people tell

me that

Jobs’s children who are doing this and

doing that the Word of God does not say

so it says that job prayed over them

continuously at any feasts that they had

so that if they might have done

something wrong it would be covered

doesn’t say that they did something

wrong

doesn’t say so those are the thoughts of

man the Word of God dedicates a whole

chapter to say be careful

some people are afflicted even for

30-something years just to show the

glory of God just to show the faith in a

man his faith for God job well through

all the afflictions never sinned with

his mouth never cursed God just asked

him what is man that you are testing

every minute man is not strong enough to

be tested every minute it’s only the

grace of God that keeps him out I pray

that you may have mercy on those

afflicted without wondering why they are

flicking I pray that when you see the

afflicted you may say what is man Lord

that you are testing him every minute

and you may give them a smile a grace

maybe some money some food

given with the grace of God and His

mercy

I pray also that you may never be so

afflicted that you may turn against God

which happens never let the afflictions

of the world turn you against God

blessed be our Lord in Jesus mighty

over myself is Lord Lord what am i that

you test me every minute I am but a man

let the Holy Spirit increase everywhere
