And with these words he gave them teaching, saying,

Matthew 6:5Let this then be your prayer: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.

The Teaching Of God
My teaching is dropping like rain, coming down like dew on the fields; like rain on the young grass and showers on the garden plants:
Deuteronomy 32:2
The word of God is for teaching, training, guiding and educating in righteousness
Every holy Writing which comes from God is of profit for teaching, for training, for guiding, for education in righteousness:

Teachers for the pleasure of hearing

Teach And Learn About Spiritual Gifts
1Co 12:1 But about the things of the spirit, my brothers, it is not right for you to be without teaching.
You are conscious that when you were unbelievers, in whatever way you were guided, you went after idols without voice or power.
So it is my desire for you to be clear about this; that no one is able to say by the Spirit of God that Jesus is cursed; and no one is able to say that Jesus is Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.
Now there are different qualities given to men, but the same Spirit.
And there are different sorts of servants, but the same Lord.
And there are different operations, but the same God, who is working all things in all.
But to every man some form of the Spirit’s working is given for the common good.
Christ sent me to be a preacher of the good news
1Co 1:17 For Christ sent me, not to give baptism, but to be a preacher of the good news: not with wise words, for fear that the cross of Christ might be made of no value.
I am thankful because now no one can say that you were baptized in my name.
Christ did not give me the work of baptizing people. He gave me the work of telling the Good News. But he sent me to tell the Good News without using clever speech, which would take away the power that is in the cross of Christ.
The teaching about the cross seems foolish to those who are lost. But to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
As the Scriptures say, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise. I will confuse the understanding of the intelligent.”
So what does this say about the philosopher, the law expert, or anyone in this world who is skilled in making clever arguments? God has made the wisdom of the world look foolish.
This is what God in his wisdom decided: Since the world did not find him through its own wisdom, he used the message that sounds foolish to save those who believe it.
