the Son of Man the Son of Man is Lord

even of the Sabbath the Son of Man is

Lord over all the holy days for he is

Lord over the holiest day the day of

completion the Son of Man is Lord even

of the Sabbath even of the Sabbath we

thank you Lord for being Lord even of

the Sabbath in Jesus mighty name amen

for man and not man for the Sabbath the

Sabbath was made for man and not man for

the Sabbath the holy days the holy

things were made for men not the other

way around

remember God so loved the world that he

sent His only begotten Son so that all

who believe in Him might not perish but

have eternal life

the holy things were made for men for

God created man in His image man was not

created for the holy things for the holy

days no and he said to them the Sabbath

was made for man and not man for the

Sabbath

so that the Son of Man is Lord even of

the Sabbath even of the most holy day he

is Lord God with us

amen so lord give us your word speak

with your voice speaking through the

hearts of those who are under the power

some days the news went about that he

was in the house and a great number had

come together so that there was no

longer room for them no not even about

the door and he gave them teaching and

four men came to him with one on a bed

who had no power of moving and when they

were unable to get him to get near him

because of all the people they got the

roof uncovered where he was and when it

was broken up they laid down the bed on

which the man was and Jesus seeing their

faith there is always through faith it

is always God working through you by

seeing your faith show your faith and

I’m not talking about standing on street

corner I’m talking about showing the

Lord your faith and Jesus seeing their

faith said to him son you have

forgiveness for your sins

interesting the man could not walk the

answer of the Lord is son you have

forgiveness for your sins an interesting

point to note about illnesses verse 6

but they were certain of the scribes

seated there and reasoning in their

hearts why does this man say such things

he has no respect for God

from whom this forgiveness come but from

God own in Jesus having knowledge in his

spirit of their thoughts said to them

why are you reasoning about these things

in your hearts which is the simpler to

say to a man who is ill you have

forgiveness for your sins or get up take

up your bed and go but so that you may

see that the Son of man has authority

for the forgiveness of sins on earth he

said to the man I say to you get up

take up your bed and go to your house

and he got up and straight away took up

the bed and went out before them all so

that they were all full of wonder and

gave glory to God saying we have never

seen anything like this and he went out

again by the seaside and all the people

came to him and he gave them teaching

and when he went by he saw Levi the son

of Alphaeus seated at the place where

taxes were taken and he said to him come

with me and he got up and went with him

and it came about that he was seated at

meat in his house and a number of tax

tax farmers and sinners were at table

with Jesus and His disciples for there

were a great number of them and they

came after him

and the scribes of the Pharisees when

they saw that he was taking food with

the tax farmers and sinners said to his

disciples why does he take food and

drink with such men and Jesus hearing it

said to them those who are well have no

need of a medical man but those who are

ill I have come not to get the upright

but sinners and Jones’s disciples and

the Pharisees were taking no food and

they came and said to him why do Jones’s

disciples and the disciples of the

Pharisees go without food but your

disciples do not and Jesus said to them

will the Friends of a newly married man

go without food while he is with them as

long as they have him with them they

will not go without food but the days

will come when the husband will be taken

away from them and then they will go

without food

no man puts a bit of new cloth on an old

coat or the new by pulling away from the

old makes a worse hole and no man puts

new wine into old wineskins or the skins

will be burst by the wine and the wine

of the skins will be wasted but new wine

has to be put into new wineskins and it

came about that on the sabbath day he

was going through the green fields and

while they were walking his disciples

took the heads of grain and the

pharisees said to him why are they doing

what it is not right to do on the

sabbath we need to understand all their

questionings center around one topic

what authority by what authority does

this man Jesus do these things by what

authority well in the beginning was the

word and the Word was with God and the

Word was God and dwelt among us for a

while his name is Jesus but they could

not see that because they were focused

on the world and this is something that

happens to all all who are in a position

of spiritual authority when their focus

is on the world they cannot see what God

is doing they try to destroy the bringer

of the message they try to destroy the

things that God is doing for they take

authority one from another and not from

God so the question is we did not give

him authority by what authority does he

do this but Jesus is Lord he has no need

for any man to give him authority he

does what he does blessed be your Lord

if you are not creating things for

someone why would they have a need to

give them then you will tell them no

this is such and so don’t touch it but

if it is for them

remember if you give a child a toy you

say hey honey here’s your doll what

shall I call it whatever you like

it’s yours

everything was me so that man could make

use of it but the Pharisees said to him

to Jesus why are they doing what it is

not right to do all the Sabbath for that

was their rule and he said to them have

you no knowledge of what David did when

he had need and was without food he and

those who were with him how he went into

the house of God when Abiathar was high

priest and took for food the holy bread

which only the priests may take and gave

it to those who were with him and he

said to them the Sabbath was made for

man and not man for the Sabbath so that

the Son of Man is Lord even of the

Sabbath the Sabbath is the commemoration

of God’s creation of the rest after

God’s creation and even that day God’s

wrath was for men and the Son of man

Jesus is Lord even of the Sabbath and

man can do all things on the Sabbath if

it is but in accordance with the will of

God blessed be your Lord and may this

Sabbath be your Sabbath may you be able

to do what you need to do on this seven

for the greatness of God for the glory

of God for the manifestation of God in

you

me this Sabbath be the Lord’s Sabbath

and me you know in your heart that God

made the Sabbath all the holy things all

the holy rules all things for the use of

men for the rightful use of men be a

blessing on this the Lord’s holy day be

a blessing on each of the Lord’s holy

days for all days are holy

if you’re walking in the Lord be a

blessing and be blessed in Jesus mighty

name amen may the Grace and peace of the

Lord be upon you

may you be able to get up and pick up

whatever your ailment may be whether the

Lord takes away your ailment or makes

you able able to do his word

having that human get up for the lord of

the sabbath awaits you to guide you and

be with you on this day and on all days
