Comforters who only give trouble

blessed be the name of the Lord blessed

Jesus so Lord we thank you for who you

are for what you have done for us and

for your promise or hope or living hope

we thank you lord

and the Word was God

such things have frequently come to my

ears

you are comforters who only give trouble

the words of job to his friends who came

to comfort him but in their comfort they

were accusing him of not being right

with God so there are many comforters

who come with hard words and soft words

hard words and soft words those who come

with the softest the kindest words

sometimes have no help but only a

temporary comfort and also come with

other intentions for the intent of the

words is only known if you know what’s

in their heart these are words that many

have heard many times yet do nothing

only bring more trouble only keep people

in their wrongdoing or may people who

have done no wrong feel bad Jove is

telling his friends you are just talking

you are just heaping up words you are

just saying things without the spiritual

the spirit of knowledge the spirit of

truth without God the spirit but

in God’s Word

it is known it is known job 16 verse 19

now my witness is in heaven when

everyone tells you hey you have to get

right with the Lord and you are right

that’s that’s the other thing right you

need to know that you are right with the

Lord now my witness is in heaven and the

supporter of my cause is on high that is

I have heard before but you are just

comforters who only give trouble the

best comforter I will even say the only

comforter is our Lord Jesus is the Word

of God is the spirit the full glory of

God who actually comforts when he

comforts it is gone when he does

something it is done blessed be your

witness in heaven who is the supporter

you may not have comforters who are just

bringing words

who only give trouble but that you may

have the great comforter on high who

witnesses of you in heaven because you

witness of him on earth who supports

your cause on high in Jesus mighty name

job 16 verse 1 job 16 verse 1 and job

made answer and said such things have

frequently come to my ears

you are comforters who only give trouble

may words which are like the wind be

stopped or what is troubling you to make

answer to them it would not be hard for

me to say such things if your souls were

in my souls this place

joining words together against you and

shaking my head at you job says it is

not hard I could also say these things I

might give you strength with my mouth

and not keep back the comfort of my lips

if I say what is in my mind my pain

becomes no less and if I keep quiet how

much of it goes from me

but now he has overcome me with

weariness and fear and I am in the grip

of all my trouble it has come up as a

witness against me and the wasting of my

flesh makes answer to my face I am

broken by his wrath and his hate has

gone after me he has made his thief

sharp against me my haters are looking

on me with cruel eyes their mouths are

open wide against me the blows of his

bitter words are falling on my face all

of them come together in a mass against

me God gives me over to the power of

sinners sending me violently into the

hands of evildoers I was in comfort but

I have been broken up by his hands he

has taken me by the neck shaking me to

bits he has put me up as a mark for his

arrows his bowmen come round about me

their arrows go through my body without

mercy my life is drained out on the

earth I am broken with wound after wound

he comes rushing on me like a man of war

like a man of war I have made hair cloth

the clothing of my skin and my horn is

rolled in the dust my face is red with

weeping and my eyes are becoming dark

though my hands have done no violent

acts and my prayer is clean o earth let

not my blood be covered and let my cry

have no resting place

even now my witness is in heaven and a

supporter of my cause is on hi my

friends make sport of me to God my eyes

are weeping so that he may give decision

for a man in his cause with God and

between a son of man and his neighbor

for in a short time I will take the

journey from which I will not come back

blessed be our Lord for in a short time

I will take the journey and after that I

will be with him in him in Jesus Christ

blessed be our Lord and me words of

comfort be true words of comfort to you

may you know that your comfort is in him

and not in any other thing that you have

a witness on high and not comforters on

low who only give trouble this I pray
