Job 8:2
How long will you say these things, and how long will the words of your mouth be like a strong wind?Job 8:3
Does God give wrong decisions? or is the Ruler of all not upright in his judging?
is your affliction without reason is
your affliction without is there no
reason for your affliction none
whatsoever the friend of Joab said to
him repent if you are if you are
afflicted repent
Bildad his friend said to him repent and
normally men are afflicted because they
have done something or let me put it
this way it happens that men are
afflicted because they have done
something but the chapter
job shows us that there are other
reasons just like a Lord said this man
was not crippled or paraplegic from
birth because of the sins of his parents
or his own sins but to show the glory of
God in John’s case it was to show the
devil the glory of God and the faith
which is what we’ve been talking about
the faith of his servants the fate
remember that faith the substance of
things hoped for and the sign that the
things not seen are true but Bildad just
like his other friend came to job and
said repent job 8 verse 2 job 8 verse 2
how long will you say these things and
how long will the words of your mouth be
like a strong wind does God give wrong
decisions or is the ruler of all not
upright in his judging if your children
have done evil against him then their
punishment is from his hand remember all
the jobs children died but you
just like abraham believed that god
could raise the dead all who know God
know that he can raise their dead for
that reason Abraham Abraham was willing
to sacrifice his own son if God says to
put him up as an offering then God will
bring him back to life the knowledge of
Christ is in the man who truly know God
for Christ as son of God was sacrificed
and brought back to life yet bill Dodd
yet bill Dodd said what he said out of
his lack of knowledge many people have
said to me that yes the children of job
did something here and there but reading
the book of Job it is clear that a
reason the reason for his misfortune his
affliction was God showing the enemy the
faith that is in dough for the enemy had
said a job was just haha a false
question a hypocrite and said he is
worshiping you because you give him
things
let him be afflicted and you will see
that his faith comes through nothing
that is what Jew the book of Job is
about how strong is your faith that
substance fate a spiritual thing that
substance of things hoped for the sign
that the things not seen are true but as
men go when they see any form of
affliction they think immediately that
something’s wrong they see with worldly
eyes God never gives wrong decision but
to whom He has given that faith and that
grace that one is able to stand in the
gap where the others are not able that
one is able and continues to testify
about our Lord God’s decisions are
always right but maybe our
interpretation of them are not always
right blessed be our Lord for his right
decisions blessed be the ruler of all
for his judging blessed be our Lord in
Jesus mighty name amen in
yuning was the word and the Word was
with God and the Word was God and at
word is in the beginning was the word
and a word the power of God in the
beginning was the word and at Word in
his his name is Jesus Lord of glory
Jesus came over Kings his name is Jesus
the light of the world Jesus the bread
of life his name is Jesus word of God
Jesus God with us so lord give us your
word speak with your voice speaking to
the hearts of those who are under the
power of your voice in Jesus mighty name
amen blessed be our Lord blessed be
your Lord job 8 verse 1 job 8 first one
then bildad the shuhite made answer and
said how long will you say these things
and how long will the words of your
mouth be like a strong wind does God
give wrong decisions or is the ruler of
all not upright in his judging if your
children have done evil against him then
their punishment is from his hand
if you will make search for God with
care and put your request before the
ruler of all if you are clean and
upright then he will certainly be moved
to take up your cause and will make
clear your righteousness by building up
your house again that verse is true but
the children of Job are innocent
scripture does not reveal that they have
done anything wrong
contrary to the word of men for reading
the book of Job we know that his
affliction was only to show the glory of
God the faith the faith that was in job
for it was because the enemy said to God
if you take away all the things that you
have given him all your blessing he will
curse you he will turn away from you and
God says no that’s not the faith that is
in June job has true faith job has
through faith and even though the first
part of bildad’s saying answer to job is
wrong that he should repent because he
was being afflicted by God verse 6 is
true if you are clean and upright then
he will certainly be moved to take up
your cause and will make clear your
righteousness by building up your house
again as Christ said this man has not
been a paraplegic for since his birth
for forty years because of the sins of
his fathers or his own sin
but to show the glory of God that God
can bring life to dead bones to dry
bones blessed be our Lord job 8 verse 7
and though your start was small your end
will be very great put the question now
to the past generations and give
attention to what has been searched out
by our fathers for we are but of
yesterday and have no knowledge because
our days on earth are gone like a shade
will they not give you teaching and say
words of wisdom to you will the river
plant come up in its pride without wet
earth will the grass get tall without
water when it is still green without
being cut down it becomes dry and dead
before any other plant so is the end of
all who do not keep God in mind and the
hope of the evildoer comes to nothing
whose support is cut off and whose hope
is no stronger than a spider’s is
strength he is looking to his family his
worldly family for support but it is not
there he puts his hope in it but it
comes to nothing he is full of strength
before the Sun and his branches go out
over his garden his roots are twisted
round the stones forcing their way in
between them
if he is taken away from his place then
it will say I have not seen you such is
the joy of his way and out of the dust
‘another comes up to take his place
cruelly God will not give up him who is
without sin and will not take evildoers
by the hand the time will come when your
mouth will be full of laughing and cries
of joy will come from your lips your
haters will be clothed with shame and a
tenth of the sinner will not be seen
again I pray I pray that whatever or
however your affliction may have come
about that God Almighty may restore you
restore you to a better place than where
you were before you were afflicted I
pray that in the time of your affliction
you take the time to find God to find
the Lord to know Jesus to open up your
heart and let him who stands at the door
and gives the sign into your heart into
your soul so that you may have his
spirit with that new heart of flesh and
that renewed mind overflowing with
living waters blessed be our Lord
blessed be our Lord in Jesus mighty
name amen let’s do that prayer Lord
forgive me forgive me for all the things
have done forgive me come and be with me
I open up myself to you Lord to you who
are lord over all come and be with me
come and be in me if there is something
to clean clean it out if there’s
something to trow out throw it out Lord
by your word Lord by your word let me be
cleansed let me be healed
let me have a clean heart clean your
house Lord
I am your house Lord be with me be in me
be over me cover me Lord at all times
cover me guide me teach me prepare me
strengthen me Lord and shine through me
Lord in Jesus mighty name amen blessed
be your Lord and Lord whether my
affliction be by my own foolishness or
by you showing your glory Lord in the
end restore me to a place next to you
Lord next to you Lord in Jesus mighty
name amen blessed be O Lord blessed be
our Lord
