Blossom like the vine, and be fruitful like the fig tree.

Son 2:11 Look, winter is past, the rains have come and gone.
Son 2:12 The flowers are blooming in the fields. It’s time to sing! Listen, the doves have returned.
Son 2:13 Young figs are growing on the fig trees. Smell the vines in bloom. Get up, my darling, my beautiful one. Let’s go away!”
KJV

FLS
2)Son 2:11 Want zie, de winter is voorbij, de plasregen is over, hij is overgegaan;
DSV

Lets rejoice in Jesus, The Christ
When we abide with him, all sorrow is passed, and everything is in bloom.
It is time to praise and worship.
All good trees start showing their sweet fruit.
God prunes the vines and everyone who stays in Jesus is in bloom. 4)Joh_15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. KJV
And he lovingly says, follow me!

I thank you, for seeing me as your darling, as your beautiful one.
You know how much that means to me, You are the only loving God.
And sometimes the only loving one.
Keep me in bloom and a sweet smell to you.
I love you Lord,
I’m up, Let’s go. I’ll follow you anywhere.

Strain Forward To What Lies Ahead‏

Php 3:13 Brothers, I do not consider myself to have embraced it yet.
But this one thing I do:
Forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,
Php 3:14 I keep pursuing the goal to win the prize of God’s heavenly call in the Messiah Jesus.
(ISV)

Closing out the year and forgetting the things in it
Let us open the new year with a quickened spirit
Let us make real efforts to attain what God has laid out for us.
Let us embrace his word that has already gone out.
And Strain to fulfill his word in our lives.

2Co 5:17 You ARE The New‏

2Co 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in the Messiah, he is a new creation.
Old things have disappeared, and—look!—all things have become new!
(ISV)

There is so much goodness in this little passage.
Many wait and hope for good things in the New year
But PLEASE Note that once you are in the body of Christ
YOU ARE the new thing that is coming into the season
It is YOU shining the light of Jesus Christ in a new way for the new season
It is YOU manifesting his Truth and Love in a new way
It is YOU bringing something new to all the old places;
YOUR new view on your marriage
YOUR new view on your job, or on how to get a job
YOUR new relationship with the body of Christ
We can go on and on, just remember
The newness of the new season is YOU
For YOU ARE the new creation.

What shall I do to inherit eternal life?

Luk 10:25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
KJV

DSV

Jesus answered him, “What is written in the Law? What do you read there?”
He answered, “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind. And you must love your neighbor as yourself.”
Jesus told him, “You have answered correctly. ‘Do this, and you will live.'”
But the man wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?
After careful consideration, Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho when he fell into the hands of bandits. They stripped him, beat him, and went away, leaving him half dead.
By chance, a priest was traveling along that road. When he saw the man, he went by on the other side.
Similarly, a descendant of Levi came to that place. When he saw the man, he also went by on the other side.
But as he was traveling along, a Samaritan came across the man. When the Samaritan saw him, he was moved with compassion.
He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring oil and wine on them. Then he put him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, ‘Take good care of him. If you spend more than that, I’ll repay you when I come back.’
“Of these three men, who do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of the bandits?”
He said, “The one who showed mercy to him.” Jesus told him, “Go and do what he did.”
ISV

Father, we thank you for the simplicity, that is in Jesus.
Lord Jesus, Thank you for being a good neighbor to us.
Abba, Thank you for loving us so much that you made it easy for all to have eternal life.
We know your Kingdom is in our Hearts. where we go, there you are.
Even so, tell us father, show us how to speak and act, so they may accept your salvation.
Soften them, so they may repent, confess and accept Jesus in their hearts.
Forgive us and Fill us, so we may be good neighbors, and show them , how to be good neighbors also.
So all, who are yours, may have eternal life.
All this I ask in Jesus Name.
And may all the glory be to you Abba.
